The Jacksonville Jaguars announced on Monday that QB Blaine Gabbert will not play against the Raiders in Week 2 due to laceration on his throwing hand.
Gabbert needed 15 stitches to repaid the cut he suffered after his hand hit the helmet of an opposing player.
This of course opens the door for Chad Henne to play against the Raiders. It will be interesting to see how Henne does this weekend and whether or not he’s capable of persuading the team to consider starting him beyond Week 2.
