The Buffalo Bills announced that free agent LB Brandon Spikes and RB Anthony Dixon visited with the team on Friday.
Spikes, 26, is one of the best available inside linebacker in this year’s free agent market, however, there has been very little buzz regarding him since free agency opened on Tuesday.
Spikes totaled 86 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery over the course of 16 games for the Pats.
Pro Football Focus has Spikes rated as the No. 6 inside linebacker in the league last season. We have him listed as the No. 31 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
Dixon, 26, announced via his Twitter account on Thursday that he was headed to Buffalo, so this is really just a confirmation. He has already met with the Titans earlier in the week.
Buffalo could use a better No. 3 running back behind C.J. Spiller and Fred Jackson, so this could be something to monitor in the coming days.
