Lindsay Jones of the Denver Post reports that Broncos head coach John Fox has announced that Kyle Orton will in fact be the teams starting quarterback for the start of the season.
Not much of a surprise here considering that Brady Quinn and Tim Tebow have been fighting for second-team snaps throughout the preseason. Orton has looked like the teams best option and gives them a shot at competing this season but it’s hard to say that he’ll be apart of their long-term plans.
