Williams, 31, is a former first-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He played out the final year of his rookie contract after the Broncos declined to pick up his fifth-year option in 2017.
From there, Williams signed a three-year, $16.5 million contract with the Titans that included $7.25 million guaranteed. However, he was released the following year.
After brief stints with the Lions and Dolphins, Williams signed on with the Saints last year but was among their final roster cuts. The Chargers signed him in October and finished out 2019 with Los Angeles.
In 2019, Williams appeared in five games for the Chargers and recorded five total tackles, one pass defense, and no tackles for loss or sacks.
