ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Kyle Orton is not expected to be traded before October 18’s trade deadline.
He’s going to finish the season in Denver,” said Schefter onSportsCenter, “…because of that overbearing salary.”
The Broncos are paying Orton $7.379 million for the 2011 which is more of an albatross than anything else.
Yesterday we mentioned an article from ESPN’s Bill Williamson where he made the case for the Broncos to cut Orton seeing as they’ve already made the decision to see what they have in Tim Tebow and possibly Brady Quinn.
