Broncos Officially Pick Up WR Emmanuel Sanders’ 2019 Option

Mike Klis reports that the Broncos have officially picked up WR Emmanuel Sanders‘ 2019 option worth $1.5 million on Monday.

Sanders, 31, is a former third-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract before signing on with the Broncos back in 2014.

Sanders is entering the fourth year of his four-year, $38.6 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $10.5 million for the 2010 season.

In 2018, Sanders appeared in 12 games for the Broncos and caught 71 passes for 868 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
