Broncos Place CB Cyrus Jones On NFI, Claim DB Shakial Taylor

The Denver Broncos have claimed DB Shakial Taylor and place CB Cyrus Jones on the reserve/non-football injury list, according to Brandon Krisztal.

Jones, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2016. He was entering the third year of his four-year, $4 million contract when the Patriots waived him coming out of the preseason in 2018.

Jones had a brief stint on the Ravens’ practice squad before returning to the Patriots. From there, he returned to the Ravens before eventually being claimed by the Broncos a few weeks ago. 

In 2019, Jones appeared eight games and recorded three tackles to go along with 113 punt return yards.
