Broncos Place TE Austin Fort On IR, Sign OT Adam Bisnowaty

Troy Renck of ABC 7 reports that the Broncos have placed rookie TE Austin Fort on injured reserve with a torn ACL and signed OT Adam Bisnowaty to a contract on Friday.

Fort, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Wyoming back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Broncos.

During his college career at Wyoming, Fort caught 17 passes for 221 yards receiving and four touchdowns over the course of 10 games.

Bisnowaty, 25, was taken in the sixth-round in 2017 out of Pittsburgh by the Giants. He signed four-year, $2.54 million contract that included a $146,548 signing bonus but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Giants later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the regular season before eventually calling him up in December. He’s since had brief stints with the Lions, Vikings and Redskins.

In 2017, Bisnowaty appeared in one game for the Giants.
