Broncos Rookie WR Romell Guerrier Retiring

Mike Klis of 9 News reports that Broncos undrafted rookie WR Romell Guerrier has made the decision to retire from the NFL.

This is something Romell has thought about since he ended OTAs,’’ Guerrier’s agent Sean Russi tells Klis. “It’s something he’s discussed with his family. He’s seeking something in his degree background and he just wants to thank the Broncos for the opportunity.’’

Guerrier wound up going undrafted out of Florida Tech back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Broncos.

During three years at Florida Tech, Guerrier caught 97 passes for 1,654 yards receiving and 17 touchdowns over the course of 38 games.
