Broncos Rumors: Brandon Lloyd & Knowshon Moreno

Brandon Lloyd

Lindsey Jones of the Denver Post writes that the Denver Broncos are “confident” that Brandon Lloyd will be able to return for week 3’s game against the Titans.

Last week Lloyd was a late scratch which left the Broncos so thin at wide receiver that they wound up playing Tim Tebow at wide receiver. Denver still won the guy despite having very few receiving options so having Lloyd back should improve their offensive production.

Knowshon Moreno

Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post writes that Knowshon Moreno has resumed running “some” and will attempt to practice this week.

Moreno is recovering from a hamstring strain that he suffered back in week 1 but the Denver Post reported that he’s not expected to back at full speed this week which leaves him unlikely to play in Sunday’s game.

Yesterday we mentioned that Willis McGahee is going to be taking over as the teams No. 1 running back for the time being as possible the foreseeable future.
