Broncos Sign First-Round Pick CB Bradley Roby

The Denver Broncos announced the signing of first-round pick CB Bradley Roby Tuesday.

The Broncos now have all of their 2014 draft picks under contract.

Roby’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $6,952,528 and includes a signing bonus of $3,376,384, according to OverTheCap.com.

Roby joins what is a very impressive secondary on paper.  Denver overhauled the back end of its defense in free agency, adding CB Aqib Talib and S T.J. Ward.  Roby has the skills to slide right in and start opposite Talib, and that is likely Denver’s plan.

There were some questions surrounding his consistency and technique at Ohio State, but Roby has the ability to be a shutdown corner with his speed and athleticism.

Last year, Roby was an All-Big Ten selection and totaled 69 tackles, 16 pass defenses, three interceptions, two blocked punts and two touchdowns.
