The Cleveland Browns announced Sunday that they’ve waived WR Damion Willis with a failed physical designation and waived C Casey Dunn from injured reserve.
Willis, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Troy back in 2019. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Bengals and managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
However, the Bengals elected to waive Willis last year and he was on and off of their roster. Cincinnati once again opted to waive him last week and he was later claimed by the Bronws.
In 2019, Willis appeared in 10 games for the Bengals and caught nine passes for 82 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
Dunn, 25, signed with Washington as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn in 2018. He made the active roster coming out of the preseason but was later waived and signed to the practice squad.
Dunn came back to Washington on a futures deal for the 2019 season but was waived with an injury designation in June. Washington cut him loose from injured reserve in September and he signed to the Saints’ practice squad late in the year.
The Browns signed Dunn to a contract a few weeks ago.
Dunn appeared in two games for Washington in 2018.
