Browns Claim DL Tory Slater Off Waivers From Seahawks

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Browns have claimed DL Tory Slater off of waivers from the Seahawks.

Slater, who is dealing with a minor hamstring injury, was waived from the injured reserve list by the Seahawks on Monday.

Slater, 22, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in early May. However, he was later waived/injured just a few weeks later before eventually ending up on the team’s injured reserve list.

During his college career at West Georgia, Slater recorded 31 career tackles, 8.5 career tackles for loss, three sacks, eight quarterback hurries and one fumble recovery.
