According to Ian Rapoport, Hubbard is undergoing surgery to repair torn ligaments in his knee. He also suffered a dislocated kneecap.

Hubbard, 29, signed on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of UAB back in 2013. He spent his first year on the practice squad before returning to the team on two consecutive one-year contracts.

Hubbard signed a five-year, $36.5 million contract with the Browns in March of 2018. He’s entering the third year of this contract and was set to earn base salaries of $6,150,000 and $6,650,000 over the next two years when he agreed to a restructured contract this past offseason that can void his 2021 year.

In 2020, Hubbard has appeared in 11 games for the Browns, making five starts for them.
