Field Yates of ESPN reports that the Browns have released veteran OT Greg Robinson on Sunday.
According to Tom Pelissero, the Browns plan to re-sign Robinson in the coming days.
The Browns also waived DT Trevon Coley and S Juston Burris and placed T Drew Forbes (knee) on injured reserve.
Robinson, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Rams back in 2014. He spent three years with the Rams before they declined to pick up his fifth-year option and was later traded Robinson to the Lions.
Detroit cut Robinson loose in 2017 and he signed on with the Browns in June of last year. He returned to Cleveland on a one-year contract worth up to $9 million.
In 2018, Robinson appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 63 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
