The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve signed CBÂ Eric Patterson to a contract following his tryout this past weekend.
Patterson, 23, originally signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Ball State following this year’s NFL draft. However, he lasted just a month in New England before he was waived and later signed to the Colts’ practice squad.
The Rams elected to sign him to their practice squad back in October and later promoted him to their active roster. However, he was placed on waivers last week and went unclaimed.
In 2015, Patterson appeared in three games and record three total tackles.
