Browns Sign DB Christian Bryant

The Cleveland Browns announced Wednesday that they’ve signed DB Christian Bryant to a contract.

Bryant, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Rams back in May of 2014. He was unable to make the team’s 53-man roster coming out of the preseason during his rookie season but wound up being added to their practice squad.

The Rams elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract following the season, but he was once again added to their practice squad following roster cuts. Bryant was cut loose by Los Angeles coming out of the preseason and he later signed on to the Cardinals’ practice squad.

After a brief stint with the Giants, Bryant returned to Arizona after they signed him off of the Giants’ practice squad. Unfortunately, the Cardinals waived him a few weeks after this year’s draft.

In 2016, Bryant appeared in three games and recorded two tackles.
