The Cleveland Browns announced that they’ve signed OL Andrew Wylie to their practice squad and released OL Travis Averill from the unit on Monday.
The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:
- TE J.P. Holtz
- RB Terrence Magee
- CB Darius Hillary
- OT Zach Sterup
- DB C.J. Smith
- DE Tyron Holmes
- WR Bug Howard
- LB Austin Calitro
- WR Rannell Hall
- OL Andrew Wylie
Wylie, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Eastern Michigan back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.
Unfortunately, Wylie listed just a few weeks on the Colts’ practice squad before he was cut loose.
