The Cleveland Browns signed OLB Edgar Jones to a contract on Thursday, according to his agent Marc Lillibridge.

Jones, 29, worked out for the Browns on Wednesday. He has previously played for the Cowboys, Chiefs and Ravens.
The Chiefs traded Jones and their 2014 seventh-round draft pick to the Cowboys in return for a 2014 sixth-round draft pick, which would ultimately become Tennessee G Zach Fulton.
Last year, Jones appeared in seven games for the Cowboys and recorded six tackles and a pass defensed.
