According to Nate Ulrich, the Browns signed UDFA RB A.J. Ouellette to their training camp roster and waived OT Ka’John Armstrong to make room for him.
Ouellette originally signed on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio back in May. New Orleans, unfortunately, elected to cut him loose after a couple of weeks.
The Chiefs brought him in for a workout last month but he left Kansas City without a contract.
During his five-year college career at Ohio, Ouellette recorded 719 rushing attempts for 3,829 yards (5.3 YPC) and 32 touchdowns to go along with 64 receptions for 516 yards receiving (8.1 YPC) and six touchdowns.
