The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that they’ve signed six players to futures deals for the 2018 season including ILB Max Bullough, DL Ricky Ali’ifua, OL Joseph Cheek, DL Jeremy Faulk, RB Kelvin Taylor and DB Corey White.

As of now, the Browns have signed 15 players to futures deals including:

  1. WR C.J. Board
  2. LB Austin Calitro
  3. DB Trevon Hartfield
  4. WR Bug Howard
  5. RB Josh Rounds
  6. OL Victor Salako
  7. DB B.W. Webb
  8. WR Kasen Williams
  9. DL Collin Bevins
  10. RB Kelvin Taylor
  11. ILB Max Bullough
  12. DL Ricky Ali’ifua
  13. OL Joseph Cheek
  14. DL Jeremy Faulk
  15. DB Corey White

Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.

Bullough, 25, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State back in May of 2014. He was on and off of their active roster for his first two years in the NFL before making the 53-man roster last season.

Bullough was set to make a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season until the Texans waived him in June.

Back in May, Bullough was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season for violating the performance-enhancing drugs policy and later received an eight-game ban for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

In 2016, Bullough appeared in all 16 games for the Texans and recorded 25 tackles and no sacks.
