Aaron Wilson reports that the Cleveland Browns have signed third-round pick LB Chris Kirksey to a four-year contract.
Cleveland has been lagging behind other NFL teams in signing their 2014 rookie class as Kirksey is just the second out of six draft pick to sign his rookie deal.
Kirksey’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $2,796,000 and includes a signing bonus of $527,400, according to OverTheCap.com.
Kirksey started 38 games at Iowa and totaled 315 tackles, 5.5 sacks, 13.5 tackles for losses, four interception returns, five forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries at Iowa.
