Browns UDFA RB L.J. Scott Leaves Team, No Longer Playing Football

Dana Balash reports that Browns undrafted RB L.J. Scott has decided to leave the team and will not play football going forward. 

According to Mary Kay Cabot, Scott did not attend the team’s practice on Wednesday but there has not been an official word from the Browns regarding him leaving. 

Scott, 22, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State. His departure opens a spot on Cleveland’s 90-man offseason roster. 

During his college career at Michigan State, Scott recorded 610 rushing attempts for 2,855 yards (4.7 YPC) and 25 touchdowns to go along with 43 receptions for 403 yards receiving (9.4 YPC) and two touchdowns.
