Browns Waive Former Third-Round Pick CB Leon McFadden

Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that the Browns have released former third-round pick CB Leon McFadden.

Recent reports mentioned that McFadden was squarely on the bubble, despite being drafted just a year ago. This leaves OLB Barkevious Mingo and DL Armonty Bryant as the last remaining players taken in that draft class.

McFadden, 23, was set to make $526,938 for the upcoming season. We’ll have to see if he’s claimed off of waivers in the coming days.
