The Cleveland Browns have placed DE George Obinna on waivers with an injury designation due to a triceps injury.
Should Obinna clear waivers on Wednesday, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Obinna wound up going undrafted out of Sacramento State back in April. He later signed a three-year, $2.28 million with the Browns.
However, Obinna was waived a few weeks ago before recently being re-signed.
During his college career at Sacramento State, Obinna recorded 136 tackles, 33.5 sacks, four forced fumbles, and three recoveries over the course of five seasons and 46 games.
