According to Aaron Wilson, the Browns brought in free agent OLB Marquis Flowers for a workout on Tuesday.
Flowers, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2014. He was traded to the Patriots at the start of last season in return for a 2018 seventh-round pick.
Flowers played out the final year of his four-year, $2,298,680 contract before returning to the Patriots last offseason. Unfortunately, he was released coming out of the preseason and later signed by the Lions in September of 2018.
Detroit released Flowers after a month with the team. The Redskins signed him in December of last year but cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Flowers appeared in five games for the Lions and recorded two tackles.
