Bryant McKinnie’s New Contract Includes Weight Clauses, Again

As was reported last Wednesday, the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens and left tackle Bryant McKinnie agreed upon a new two-year, $7 million contract.

As the details of the contract have been leaked, there is clearly still concern about McKinnie’s physical playing condition.

The Baltimore Sun reveals some of the details of the freshly-inked deal, which include weight clauses yet again.

McKinnie was originally released from the Minnesota Vikings prior to the 2011 season because of his conditioning. A month after being released, the Ravens took a chance on McKinnie with a two-year deal, complete with clauses and fine print to protect Baltimore’s investment.
