The Tampa Bay Buccaneers claimed DB John Lowdermilk off of waivers from the Vikings on Wednesday.
Lowdermilk, 24, originally signed on with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa back in May of last year. He was waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Vikings practice squad towards the end of the year.
Minnesota brought him back on a future/reserve contract before cutting him loose on Tuesday.
Lowdermilk has yet to appear in an NFL game.
