Tom Brady announced via his Instagram account on Friday that he’s officially signed with the Buccaneers.
- According to Adam Schefter, Brady receives a two-year, $50 million guaranteed contract from the Buccaneers that includes another $9 million in incentives.
- Schefter says the deal prevents the Buccaneers from tagging or trading Brady, which implies he could play beyond the current deal.

The contract was delayed while Brady took a physical and they worked out the minor details of the agreement.
Brady is signing a two-year contract worth roughly $30 million per year.
It became clear earlier in the week that the Buccaneers were the team to watch for Brady, even though other teams like the Chargers were in play.
Brady, 42, is a former sixth-round pick of the Patriots back in 2000. He was in the final year of his two-year, $41 million contract when he agreed to a two-year extension a few weeks ago.
Brady made $23 million for the 2019 season and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Brady appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and threw for 4,057 yards, 24 touchdowns and eight interceptions. He also rushed for 34 yards and three touchdowns.
