The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Thursday that they’ve picked up the 2019 option on right tackle Demar Dotson.
Dotson will now make $4.725 million for the 2019 season.
Dotson, 33, signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Miss back in 2011. He was in the final year of his four-year, $7.5 million contract when he agreed to a four-year, $18.25 million contract that includes $8.5 million guaranteed with the Buccaneers back in 2016.
The Buccaneers picked up Dotson’s 2018 option last year and made a base salary of $3.97 million for the 2018 season.
In 2018, Dotson appeared in 15 games for the Buccaneers and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 44 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
