The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Friday that they’ve placed tight end Antony Auclair on injured reserve. The noted that this move was made with a “minor designation,” implying that it’s not a serious issue.
It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.
Auclair, 27, wound up goin gundrafted out of Laval University back in 2017. He later signed a three-year contract with the Buccaneers and managed to make the 53-man roster as a rookie.
The Buccaneers placed Auclair on injured reserve last year with a toe injury before bringing him back on a one-year, $1.25 million contract this past March.
For his career, Auclair has appeared in 33 games for the Bucs and caught 10 passes for 84 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
