Buccaneers Placing LB Jack Cichy On IR, Promoting TE Jordan Leggett

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are placing LB Jack Cichy on injured reserve after he suffered a setback in his rehab from an elbow injury and are planning to promote TE Jordan Leggett to their active roster, according to Rick Stroud.

Greg Auman reports that the Bucs signed TE Codey McElroy to their practice squad.

Cichy, 23, is a former sixth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2,605,376 that included a $145,376 signing bonus.

Cichy stands to make a base salary of $750,000 for the 2019 season. 

In 2019, Cichy has appeared in four games for the Buccaneers and recorded one tackle.
