According to Field Yates, the Buccaneers have re-signed restricted free agent DB Javien Elliott on Saturday.
Elliott, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Florida State back in 2016. He played out the final year of his rookie contract and was in line to be a restricted free agent this offseason.
However, it appears as though the Bucs and Elliott were able to reach an agreement on a new deal worth less than the original-round tender.
In 2017, Elliott appeared in 15 games for the Buccaneers and recorded five tackles and no interceptions.
