According to Rick Stroud, the Buccaneers have re-signed TE Antony Auclair to a one-year deal.
Auclair was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason. He has been consistently praised by HC Bruce Arians for his blocking and was seen as a priority to retain.
Greg Auman notes the one-year deal is not a restricted free agent tender, so other teams will not be able to sign Auclair to an offer sheet.
Auclair, 26, signed with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Laval University in 2017. He’s made the final roster each of the past three seasons.
In 2019, Auclair appeared in eight games for the Buccaneers and caught one pass for 11 yards.
