The Tampa Bay Buccaneers officially released OT Marquis Lucas from the practice squad injured list with a settlement.
The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Riley Bullough
- FB Austin Johnson (Exception)
- OL Mike Liedtke
- WR Freddie Martino (Exception)
- LB Eric Nzeocha (International)
- WR Bobo Wilson
- OT Justin Murray
- DT Channing Ward
- DB David Rivers
- FB Alan Cross
Lucas, 24, originally signed on with the Bills as an undrafted free agent out of West Virginia back in May of 2016. Buffalo decided to waive him but signed on to the Vikings’ practice squad.
The Falcons signed him to a contract back in June but he was recently waived during the offseason and later claimed by the Buccaneers.
Unfortunately, Lucas was among the Buccaneers’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason before he was added to their practice squad.
Lucas has yet to appear in an NFL game.
