The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced Wednesday that they’ve signed LB Nigel Harris to their practice squad.
The Buccaneers’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB Riley Bullough
- LB Eric Nzeocha (International)
- DT Channing Ward
- S Isaiah Johnson
- WR Jake Lampman
- OT Givens Price
- DB Reese Fleming
- DE Patrick Gamble
- OT Brad Seaton
- DE Sterling Bailey
- DB Cody Riggs
- LB Nigel Harris
Harris, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Chargers as an undrafted free agent out of South Florida back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract.
The Chargers elected to waive him a few months into the season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Giants. Unfortunately, New York cut him loose a few months later.
In 2017, Harris has appeared in seven games for the Chargers and Giants and has recorded 12 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
