Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the buccaneers are placing OT Caleb Benenoch on waivers.
According to Rapoport, Benenoch should generate “real interest” and mentions that Jaguars, Titans and Falcons as ties that have coaching and front office ties to him.
Other roster moves for the Buccaneers include:
- Buccaneers signed OT Josh Wells. (NFLTR)
- Buccaneers placed S Justin Evans on injured reserve.
Benenoch, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $2.823 million contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
Benenoch is in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2019, Benenoch has appeared in one game for the Buccaneers and drawing a start.
