Buccaneers Won’t Take Johnny Manziel At No. 7 Overall?

According to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports, the Buccaneers will not take Texas A&M QB Johnny Manziel at No. 7 overall.

This is probably our fourth update regarding Manziel today, but it’s mainly due to the fact that no one can pin down a team willing to take the Texas A&M product in the first round of the draft.

There have been more positive signs regarding other quarterback prospects like Blake Bortles and Teddy Bridgewater than regarding Manziel.

Earlier in the day, reports mentioned that the Rams interest was a smoke screen.

The Browns could be an option at No. 4, but recent reports have said that they have interest in Bridgewater at No. 26, so it appears as though they could wait to address the position.

The Cowboys are rumored to be high on Manziel, however, several reporters have already said that he’s not even their top quarterback as of now.

If he ends up getting past the Vikings at No. 8, there’s really no telling how far he could fall.
