The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have claimed LB Trevardo Williams off of waivers from the Texans.
- The Cardinals also waived CB Todd Washington in a corresponding move.
Williams, 23, was the third notable draft pick from the Texans’ 2013 draft class to be waived after just one year with the team. Houston used the No. 124 overall selection on Williams, but he never appeared in a single game for them.
During rookie season, Williams suffered what appeared to be a leg injury during the team’s final preseason game and was later placed on season-ending injured reserve.
