Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals are bringing in free agent DE Andre Branch for a visit on Thursday.
This is the first reported interest in Branch since he became available several months ago.
The Cardinals have been among the most active teams in veteran free agent market this offseason and it appears as though they’re still looking for some pass rush help.
Branch, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Jaguars before signing a one-year, $3 million contract with the Dolphins in 2016.
From there, Branch agreed to return to Miami on a three-year, $27 million contract the following year. However, he was released by the Dolphins back in March.
In 2018, Brach appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and recorded 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and a pass defense.
We have him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
