Cardinals Pick Up P Andy Lee’s 2018 Option

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals have exercised punter Andy Lee‘s option for the 2018 season.

Lee, 36, is a former sixth-round pick of the 49ers back in 2004. After 11 seasons in San Francisco, he was traded to the Browns and spent a year in Cleveland.

The Browns later traded Lee to the Panthers for a seventh-round pick in 2016, but they cut him loose at the start of last season. Lee signed on with the Cardinals a few days later.

In 2017, Lee appeared in all 16 games and totaled 3,653 yards on 88 attempts (41.5 percent)
