The Arizona Cardinals officially placed DB Jonathan Owens on injured reserve Tuesday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Owens wound up going undrafted out of Missouri Western State a few months ago before signing on with the Cardinals. Unfortunately, Arizona placed Owens on waivers with an injury designation Monday.
During his senior year at Missouri Western State, Owens recorded 95 tackles, three tackles for a loss, one sack, two forced fumbles, a recovery, two interceptions and seven pass defenses over the course of 11 games.
