Despite releasing OT Levi Brown just a few days ago, the Cardinals have re-signed him to a five year contract, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Browns’ previous deal could have forced the Cardinals to pay him a 2012 salary ofย $14 million and to make things worse, he would have counted $17 million against their cap.
Schefter mentions that his new contract is a more “cap-friendly” deal. The Cardinals could still use help at offensive tackle despite re-signing Brown but they may not address their offensive line until the draft.
