The Arizona Cardinals announced that they’ve signed CBs Quinten Rollins and Dontae Johnson to contracts on Tuesday and waived CB Chris Jones.

  • The Cardinals also re-signed WR Jalen Tolliver to their practice squad and released DT Vincent Valentine from the unit.

Here’s the Cardinals updated practice squad:

  1. C Coleman Shelton
  2. RB Brandon Wilds
  3. DB Deatrick Nichols
  4. TE Gabe Holmes
  5. OT Rick Leonard
  6. WR Montay Crockett
  7. OLB Vontarrius Dora
  8. WR Jalen Tolliver

Rollins, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2015. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.743 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $945,351 for the 2018 season.

The Packers waived Rollins with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to injured reserve after clearing waivers. Green Bay waived him with an injury settlement soon after.

In 2017, Rollins appeared in six games for the Packers and recorded 19 tackles, no interceptions, two fumble recoveries and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 106 cornerback out of 114 qualifying players.
