Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Cardinals have agreed to a one-year contract extension for veteran DLย Frostee Rucker.
- Field Yates of ESPN reports that Rucker’s new extension includes $500,000 guaranteed, a $1 million base salary, and $2 million in new money.
Rucker, 31, had one year remaining on hisย a two-year, $2.145 million contractย that included justย $590,000 guaranteed. He stands to make a base salary of $1.1 million for the 2015 season.
In 2014,ย Ruckerย appeared in 15 games for Arizona and recorded 24 tackles, five sacks, two forced fumbles and a pass defense.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 21 defensive end in a 3-4 defenseย out of 47 qualifying players.
