According to Benjamin Albright, the Cardinals are signing OLB Isaiah Irving to their active roster off the Broncos’ practice squad.
Irving, 26, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of San Jose State in 2017 but was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later signed to their practice squad.
He was eventually promoted the Chicago’s active roster in October of 2017 and re-signed to a one-year deal as an exclusive rights free agent last offseason. He re-signed to another one-year deal this offseason but was cut loose before the start of the season.
The Broncos signed him to their practice squad in September.
In 2019, Irving appeared in 13 games for the Bears and recorded 14 total tackles and no other statistics.
