Cardinals Waive WR Rashad Ross, Sign WR Austin Wolf

The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve waived WR Rashad Ross and signed undrafted rookie WR Austin Wolf to a contract.

Ross, 28, originally signed on with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in 2013. He had brief stints with the Chiefs, Redskins, Bears, Redskins and Lions before signing a futures contract with the 49ers last year.

After being cut during the summer, Ross caught on with the Bills but lasted just a few months in Buffalo. The Cardinals signed him to a contract late last season and brought him back on a futures contract this past January.

In 2016, Ross has appeared in five games and caught one pass for eight yards receiving and no touchdowns. He has also contributed 22 kick return yards for Washington this season.
