Jason La Canfora reports that CFL WR Duron Carter made his first NFL visit Tuesday with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

According to La Canfora, Carter is scheduled to visit with the Vikings, Chiefs and Colts in the coming weeks.

La Canfora adds that if Carter does not reach an agreement with one of these teams, he’ll visit with the Ravens, Seahawks, 49ers and Cardinals in the second leg of his tour.

For what it’s worth, La Canfora expects the Colts to be “particularly aggressive” in trying to sign Carter.

Previous reports have said that there will be a lot of interest in Carter, so this news shouldn’t come as much of a surprise.

Carter’s contract with the Montreal Alouettes ended a few months ago and he is now able to make visits with the NFL teams. It’s worth mentioning that Carter cannot sign with an NFL team until next February.

Carter, 23, caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing.

We’ll have more updates regarding Carter and his NFL options as the news is available.
