Eric Williams of ESPN reports that the Chargers signed GM Tom Telesco to a multi-year contract extension at the completion of the 2018 season.
Telesco is now in his third contract with the Chargers since being hired for the 2013 season.
Telesco, 46, began worked as an intern for the Bills in 1991 and later got into scouting as a member of the Panthers.
The Colts hired Telesco as an area scout in 1998 and he was eventually promoted to director of player personnel role in 2005. After several years in Indianapolis, he departed to become the Chargers GM in 2013.
During his six years with the Chargers, Telesco has led the team to a record of 48-48, which includes two playoff appearances. The Chargers posted their best record under Telesco last year when they won 12 games and lost 4.
