The Kansas City Chiefs announced the release of 11 players on Sunday as they work to get down to 75 players by Tuesday.

Among those release are: WR L’Damian Washington, WR Kenny Cook, OT Anthony Dima, LS Andrew East, CB Aaron Hester, DE Vaughn Martin, CB Kenneth Penny, G Marcus Reed, TE Adam Schiltz, WR Jeret Smith, and OL Charles Tuaau.

Washington, 24, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Missouri back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months with the team before he was later placed on waivers and claimed by the 49ers.

Since then, Washington has had brief stints with the Giants, Browns, Dolphins, and Steelers before eventually landing with the Chiefs.

During his college career, he totaled 100 receptions for 1,735 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns over the course of four years.

Washington has yet to appear in an NFL game.
